The Four Kingdoms (cont.)

Lu stayed at his desk unknowing of the next move. He could've gone and confronted Guo Si, but he wasn't quite sure if it'd be the right move so he just decided to ask his strategist Chen Gong.

"Chen, what do u advise me to do in this situation" Lu asked his kindly warlord.

Chen thought it over for a minute then gave an answer. "I would advise you to go and see him. The worst he could do is deny your proposals."

"Proposal huh ? for a treaty u suggest ?" Lu asked

"Yes, or whatever else you had in mind."

"Alright tonight we shall prepare, and tomorrow we are off. We must tell the men in case their response is no" Lu told him standing up.

"Very well. We will begin making the neccessary preparations, you can inform the men, my lord." Chen Gong then went off to his duties.

Lu Xing walked out of the main building and into the barracks, he could see hundreds of men fighting and training for neccesary battles. Just like he wanted them to, he approached their instructor and he bowed towards Xing. He bowed back to show honor and spoke with him.

"What is it that you wish my lord" the instructor asked

"Tell these men to get ready, we are going to meet with Guo Si to propose a treaty and in case they refuse we are going to destroy their kingdom" Lu told him

The instructor bowed his head and Lu left the barracks, he could hear the instructors words as he repeated lus instructions in a more inspiring manor. He then went back to the main building and called up some servants. He gave them the order to fetch the provisions and to bring his weapons to the blacksmith. He gave a fierce glare to the servant in charge of the blacksmith and she ran off. Lu went back to his desk and continued his domestic duties, wondering what Chen was up to.

Chen was just completing the final preparations for an escort when Lu Xing returned. "We are ready my lord. Are you?"

"Some servants are getting my provisions and such. Plus we must wait for the instructor to say we are ready for our departure" Lu said getting a little impaitient. He got up and began pacing the floor.[/color]

Eventually they both had arrived simultaneously, he was about to yell at them but he knew the blacksmith would take awhile. The instructor said the words needed and he left the building harnessing Hex Mark and waiting for Chen to arrive so they can lead the pack.

He called a messanger over,

"take any horse u'd like and run and tell Gongsun Zan of our arrival"
the messenger nodded and flew faster than the wind

(OOC: I remember he ran to him for help )

Chen then went to Lu Xing's uside on horseback. "I believe everything is in order. Give the order and we shall go."

Lu gave Chen a firm nod, he lunged the rope on the saddle and they began to move. They could've moved faster but Lu wanted them the messenger to get there before they did and give them time to contemplate their next move. The moving was rather silent in the front but the soldiers were obviously talking as if it was some party. They continued to move until Lu could see their banner from a castle above. They were still very distant from that castle but at least he could see it. He saw as the messanger went in and parked to see further instructions.

The messenger came out of breath as usual
"Lord Gongsun Zan.......Lord Lu Xing requests a meeting with both you and Guo Si"

Guo Si behind the corner listening to the conversation. He ran to Zans position and whispered in his ear directions.

"This meeting has been called off, we respectfully request that he leaves" Gongsun Zan said in an angry voice, he then preceded to cut the messengers head off.

It was quiet at first and there was no sign of the messenger anywhere, he was quite lost at this point until he saw an arrow pass by and nearly smite his head off. This obviously meant war. He came up with an all so sudden strategy as many arrows came flying now. "Chen let us pincer the enemy from two sides, since theres three doors they will get confused do you agree" Lu said almost yelling and ducking from the numerous arrows flying from the sky.

"Yes! Let's move!" Chen quickly took some troops and began to move into position. He also sent a messenger back to the camp to request reinforcements.

Lu began riding on his horse to the east doorway, troops running as well. He could hear screaming from some men, the castle was still a bit far away. Him and Hex Mark smashed some men who were trying to prevent them, he then continued to push further and further, Many arrows almost hitting him. Eventually he made it to the doorway. He took out his spare bow and arrow and shot some arrows til chen gave the signal that they were ready

Chen gave a signal that he was ready. He quickly took his troops and began to move to pincer, with him and troops avoiding arrows and killing any enemies in his way.

they had both made it inside, their defenses were crumbling as both men and soldiers flooded the castle. Guo was up high in the stairs attempting to injure Lu. He was a pretty skilled archer for like 3 of his shots almost connected with his shoulder.

"Chen come with me, we shall show Guo the error of his ways" Lu told him. He held his sword tightly and ran up the stairs chasing him.

Guo cowardily ran up the stairs attempting to reach the highest floor and prepare his defenses. He had heard what they said and was now much fearful.

"Very well!" Chen ran up the stairs, sword in hand. He quickly reached the top and charged toward the enemy forces with his troops.

Guo was surprised at how quick they had got there, but he had troops at had along with Gongsun Zan. Lus troops were depleting on the bottom floor but the top floor had a pretty equal ammount of troops.

Guo made the first strike. It was quite a lung that took Lu by suprised and fell to the ground. They were swords were now in a deadlock.

"Chen. fend off Gongsun but do not kill him" Lu said struggling to speak.

Zan heard the orders and made his first attack on Chen.

Then the troops began fighting and the real war had begun

Chen heard his orders and immediately began to fight his way to Gongsun Zan. Taking some troops, he fought his way through a crowd. He knew at this pace he'd quickly reach Gongsun Zan.

As their swords clashed Lus had won the deadlock and he immediatly backed him up to a corner, with his sword near his neck. He didn't know whether to slash it off or not, he just knew that he had one the duel.

Ugh hes not worth it, hes just some stupid imbecile whos lost and doesn't know what to do. Chen used to be in the same faction as him so I'll let him do the work. Lu thought. He quickly turned him around and surrounded his arms with rope. He could not move at all. He began clearing the upstairs floor, it was quite easy since there morale was depleted

Chen walked over to Lu and whispered to him, "What would you have us do with him?" Chen awaited a reply.
